Thank you kindly for taking the time to have a look but if you really want to see...click full view :peace:

This I dedicate to all the children who left us far too soon …they were here and then they were gone. For me I'm reflecting back nearly ten summers ago when in our family my dear five year old nephew was diagnosed with an extremely rare inoperable brain cancer and passed over the rainbow that summer. One of the last things he ever said to me as he lay on his sickbed all fucked up from this disease was, "Uncle Richy...if you listen close, you can hear angels."

I have mixed feelings on sharing these private memories in a public forum but the need is to express and so I have...each time I hear this song those days flood back to my consciousness, although they're never really buried so deep, for this is the track I played over and over and over between sips of beer and falling tears...for who now will bring these children that which they desire and were entitled to. Certainly not us for we are truly powerless.

Rod Stewart - Broken Arrow

Your lovely shot captures those joys of childhood, and helps us all to know, just for a moment, your young nephew, and the joys he brought.....life is sometimes so hard to understand, but such a blessing we have memories of special lives we are blessed to share, even for such a short time sometimes. Nature always brings me comfort and joy in life, and to me, is a reminder that there truly is so much beyond us we cannot comprehend. Thanks so much for sharing your gifts and your nephew's story Richard.
