This is a conceptional statement about modern womanhood. No matter how much "Women" are continuously oppressed in today's world, they will always shine on as brightly as the blocked letters do here contrasted against the proverbial bars, locks, bricks and steel doors that others continuously attempt to enmesh them in. In affect trying to keep them in the shit-house which this is actually a photograph of.

You have featured pieces of mine time and again...I think :lol:
I really should do multi-artist's journals. I do solo shows of people who I feel are very good and yet do not get the recognition they deserve. It gives them a boost and then they forget me :rofl:

Great show by Canan...I'm glad you took to the time to explore it and fav this piece.
I have no concern that the women will shine but have some reservations about the men...especially when there are those like me running loose in the world :lol:
