Dear friends of the arts please allow me to introduce to you Vanja and the art of her creatively expressive photography. For those of you who aren't familiar with her work I think a visit to her gallery would certainly be a pleasant experience.

Vanja is an artist from Slovenia who uses a visual formula that blends the abstract with impressionism to create fine photographic works of art. The key to her successful photography lies in how she carefully balances impact and harmony. It's better many times to succinctly suggest something, as she so often does within her work, then it is to bash someone over the head with a one-sided message that really says nothing more than that the "artist" has technical know how. It's refreshing to see that Vanja's work expresses the one thing that separates art from mere record...and that's an innate soul. Throughout her body of work there is a spoken clarity...a photographic "language" if you will allow. Each image tells its story in a subtle and concise manner. Less is more is the phrase that comes to mind upon a close viewing of these photographs. Another common thread running throughout Vanja's body of work is its sense of atmosphere. It's an unmistakeable signature in her photography.

Without further ado, may I present to you from Slovenia…

I hope you can afford the time to visit Vanja's gallery.
It's a trip worth taking and as always...admission is free on DA.

I would like to say to my friends and watchers that if I haven't featured you, it by no means implies that your work doesn't warrant it.
Its just that I am easily the biggest procrastinator around. Forgive me...I hope to get to it eventually.
So many of you sincerely deserve solo shows as well
